Hell's Angels

We all want to see ourselves as angels,

pretend our lives aren't in tangles,

it's actually rather- painful.

That we have such a self-centered vision,

yet somehow can't see ourselves on any mission.

The fun thing about hell is,

we send ourselves there.

Driven down by our own guilt,

forcing ourselves to relive our sins until we wilt.

But- the doors aren't locked,

we could leave at any time.

Yet we still choose to sit there and rhyme.

Even though we create our own hell,

we still refuse to believe we fell,

and see ourselves as angels,

even while we are in mangles.

I guess we're all just Hell's "Angels."
